Here’s Levi’s process video for this lovely page!

Hey! Levi here! Just a few notes… I’m really excited at the response this page got! Wow!

A lot of myself is going into this strip/story. Keen-eyed viewers will SEE that I “stole” a photograph of a lake in my process video. I’m only okay with this because I took the photo, and it’s the “right” lake. The lighthouse in the comic is based on the lighthouse in Port Sanilac, Michigan. The lake is Lake Huron. A few miles from where I grew up. The house is based on the treehouse in the old Jay Ward cartoon, George Of The Jungle.

and there’s lilacs… just because I like lilacs, and we had them at the farm. (probably to dilute the smell of cows, now that I think of it…huh…it all comes back to cows with me…)
